Hello students! My name is Hunter and I am happy to join the PlayStation University as the resident Professor of History. The PlayStation brand dates back to the ancient 1990’s, and as a result,  it possesses a rich heritage that deserves to be celebrated. Over the next few weeks, I hope to bring a new voice to the site and I have a lot of plans for great new content, including:

• Retro reviews
• Classic game videos
• Possible trivia contests
• Discussions about the best (and worst) games to grace PlayStation consoles

The recent release of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale creates the perfect opportunity to begin to look back at some of the franchises that have made PlayStation a household name. Everything from the obvious classics (not everybody forgot Crash and Spyro, Super Bot…) to some unfortunately overlooked gems (Dark Cloud comes to mind).

My hope is to bring some great retro and video content to the site very soon. If you have a favorite classic PlayStation game that you’d like to see featured, leave us a comment and we’ll look into it.
