It appears that gamers can have their annual Assassin’s Creed fix very soon, sooner than many would have thought. Ubisoft has recently announced that Assassin’s Creed III will be released this fall, hitting stores on October 30th of this year.
Ubisoft seems very excited about this product and plans to “push the title a lot” due to the fact that the development team has been hard at work on this project for a number of year. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that the team has had their noses to the grindstone for the past three years. According to Yves, the games is turning out great and looks “just fabulous.”
With Assassin’s Creed: Revelations still fresh in gamers’ minds, it will be interesting to see how they will react to a new entry in the series so soon. However, Revelations was the supposed to be the final installment to feature Altair and Enzio, so it will be a treat to see what new direction they take the series. What era in time will this game feature? How will it expand on the current story? Are you excited?
