Two full months and several patches later, PS3 users are still having issues with crippling lag should accrue too many hours entrenched in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Bethesda is working on yet another patch, v. 1.4, which the @Bethblog Twitter account assures will be “addressing [the issue] in the 1.4 update planned for this month.”
We don’t know exactly when the patch will hit, but I’d say that it’s about two months too late. No game, no matter how big and complex, shouldn’t need the qualifier “when it’s working” when you’re talking about how much fun it is. Maybe one day Bethesda will understand that $60 grants its customers license to play a finished product, and not beta test a broken one.
