Beyond Good & Evil 2 still not close to ready

Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot understands that fans of the Good & Evil franchise are eagerly awaiting the release of the upcoming sequel, but he also believes gamers need to be patient for it as well. Speaking with Kotaku, Guillemot lets it be known that the creators behind the game are doing everything they can in order to create the perfect game from their perspective. As with anything that is being done by a perfectionist, that means it’ll take time.

Guillemot believes the product will actually be perfect, and considering how freely perfect scores have been thrown around this generation, he may just be right about his beliefs.

“We were, as we are, working on the game. What is very import with this next product is that it will be perfect.”

Guillemot states that developer Michel Ancel’s “intention is to come [out] with something really exciting. But everybody needs a little bit of patience.”

As a fan of the original, I’m anticipating this title with quite an amount of excitement. How many of you are also looking forward to this one?
