Activision has issued the official box art for Sledgehammer’s upcoming mammoth title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The soldier silhouette seems to be a reoccurring design throughout the franchise, with nothing really creative about it. The first gameplay trailer was released a few days ago, showcasing large scale battles across the globe. Also, screenshots of the titles in-game character models were posted here.

Modern Warfare 3 is scheduled to hit store shelves November 8 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
