Castlevania: Lords of Shadows producer Dave Cox may have hinted at a sequel for the 2010 franchise reboot.

Cox, who manages the game’s official Twitter page, posted a link to a CVG write-up speculating the game will be arriving sometime this year.

Next to the link, he wrote: “Tweeted without comment”

In no way is that confirmation, but it can be classed as a nice little hint.

Lords of Shadows was developed by Spanish studio MercurySteam, with Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima also contributing in an advisory role. With the game experiencing critical success, it’s no wonder a sequel may be on the cards.
