If only for the dulcet tones of “ROLLLIIIINGG STAAAAAART,” I’m happy to report that Sega’s classic arcade racer, Daytona USA, will be making its way to PSN. Woo-hoo!

The good news doesn’t stop there: the game is geared up for release in North America on October 25th for a paltry $9.99. Unfortunately, a European release date is specified only as “late November.”

The game will feature upgraded visuals, which judging by the below announcement trailer means that there will be less pop-in, as well as online play for up to 8 players.
