CCP’s upcoming MMO first-person shooter, DUST 514, will be coming to the PlayStation Network as a free-to-play title. This makes DUST 514 the very first ever game made especially as a free-to-play MMO for consoles.

CCP’s original plan upon the release of DUST 514 was to have players pay a “cover charge” of around $10 – $20, which would allow them a certain amount of currency in the game. However, CCP has recently changed their strategy and decided to release the game free once it hits PSN.
