Elden Ring has been far more successful than most people anticipated to the point it has managed to beat Horizon Forbidden West to the top spot in the PlayStation Store February 2022 download charts. The exception is the EU PS4 chart where it fell to fourth place, although Horizon was still beaten by FIFA 22. Dying Light 2: Stay Human also had a great debut by making it to third spot in all charts.
