PS5, PS4 players are reminded that they can claim new PS Plus bonuses alongside August 2025 Essential monthly free games. As previously announced, Sony has rolled out another set of nifty PSN avatars for everyone.

New PS Plus free bonus avatars celebrate the service’s 15th anniversary

The new freebies are based on games like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarok, and Twisted Metal.

The avatars are rolling out now as we speak, starting with Europe/UK. We’ll update this post as redemption codes from other regions become available, so make sure to check back.

If you haven’t already, make sure to also stop by the PS Plus page on the PS Store, and claim Lies of P, Day Z, and My Hero One’s Justice 2.

Speaking of avatars, there’s still no word on the missing premium PS3 avatars that Sony recently yanked from PS5, PS4, and PS App. The paid PSN avatars are now only available to use on the PS3, so those who no longer have the console have lost access to the content.

At first, we thought this was a glitch. But it’s increasingly looking like Sony has just pulled the avatars, for some bizarre reason.
