According to USA Today, it looks as though the famous four ghost hunters are making their way back to consoles in the form of Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime. The game is being developed by Chilian Studio and is being touted as a 4-player co-op experience both offline and online. The online paper also revealed that The Rookie from The Ghostbusters game released by Terminal Reality will also be making a return.
Being released as a top-down shooter, you can expect Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime to play similar to that of Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light or Dead Nation. Outside of co-op gameplay, the developers are promising epic boss battles that will requirement strong teamwork in order to be successful.
One word of warning: Don’t cross your streams!
The game is scheduled to release on PC, XBLA and PlayStation Network but no date has been set.
Looks interesting! I like top down shooters and I liked the Atari one released last year. Make a 3rd movie already!
