Hogwarts Legacy will receive a 72-hour Early Access period, it has been confirmed at the Gamescom 2022 opening ceremony today. As its name suggests, this will allow Harry Potter fans to jump in and play the game a whole three days ahead of its February 10, 2023 release date.

How to get Hogwarts Legacy Early Access



To gain Early Access to Hogwarts Legacy, players must pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. Pre-orders will go live on August 25, 2022. They will also receive the following pre-order bonuses:

Thestral Mount
Dark Arts Cosmetic Set
Dark Arts Battle Arena

Onyx Hippogriff Mount
Dark Arts Garrison Hat
72 Hours Early Access

The announcement was made at the end of a brand new trailer for the game, which focused on some of the darker elements of its world — appropriate, then, that it concluded by revealing a number of Dark Arts-themed bonuses.
