Killzone 3, the successor to one of Sony’s most critically acclaimed series, will be releasing later next month on February 22nd. Fans of the game will have their hands full with plenty of Killzone 3 fun beforehand, though. An open beta will be launching February second, and a demo is inbound to the PS Store February 15th and February 8th for PlayStation Plus subscribers, there should be no issue for those anticipating the game.
There will be two versions of the demo, one for those with 3D hardware, and one for those with 2D hardware. The standard [2D] version will also feature a split-screen co-op mode. The demo isn’t coming up short, either, as Move functionalities will be fully intact for those anxious to see how well Killzone 3 takes advantage with Move functionality.
On another note, this news adds more hope and incentive for PlayStation Plus; a subscription to PSN which has been bashed in the past and said to not be worth the money. Though the PS+ Killzone 3 demo will only be releasing a few days before the release for regular users, it’s still a sign that the incentive is there.
