New Homefront Dev Diary Rewrites History

Homefront is a first-person shooter that is set in the United States during year 2027.  America, after fifteen years of economic hardships and war, is in turmoil.  Rising from all this darkness is a stronger, technologically superior North Korean Republic that ravages through the once great nation, eliminating all who oppose it.  In Homefront, you take command of a member of an American resistance, where you will do whatever it takes to reclaim the luxuries of a lost freedom.

In a recently released dev diary, you will notice that Kaos Studios is, so to speak, rewriting retail history.  At 1:53 in the video, you can clearly see that the building being used as a supply depot is Circuit City; an American electronics retailer that went under in 2007.  In addition, the dev diary gives a good glimpse regarding various aspects of the game.  If you’re a newcomer to this title, this diary should certainly bring you up to speed regarding what this game is all about.
