PS Plus Essential December Monthly Free Games Will Please Fans

Sony has just announced PS Plus Essential December 2025 monthly free games, which will go live next week. Headlining this month’s lineup is Lego: Horizon Adventures. The incoming games will replace a divisive November lineup headlined by cat adventure Stray.

Full list of PS Plus Essential December 2025 monthly lineup includes five free games

The full PS Plus December Essential lineup includes Lego Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo of Ada, and Neon White.

All five games will go live on Tuesday, December 2. Essential games aren’t staggered by region, so they will appear for subscribers in all regions by noon local time.

Players are reminded that they have until Monday night to claim November’s free games. Besides Stray (PS5, PS4), players were treated to EA Sports WRC 24 (PS5), and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (PS5, PS4).

A reminder for PS4 players: starting next month, Sony will be prioritizing offering PS5 games to PS Plus users. This means that there may be months where Essential subscribers on PS4 won’t have anything to play. If you don’t wish to upgrade to a PS5, we suggest opting for a PS Plus Extra membership, as there are bound to be some PS4 games in a bigger catalog.
