The Last Guardian executive director quits Sony

Highly anticipated PS3 exclusive The Last Guardian isn’t having too much luck at the moment, it seems.

A new report from Develop has revealed that the game’s executive director, Yoshifusa Hayama, has left Sony to join London studio Bossa.

Hayama is now working as creative director at the News Corporation developer, with a 3D social game his first project.

Last week it was claimed that Fumido Ueda – creator of Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian – had left Team ICO. Although he’s now working in a freelance position on The Last Guardian, it’s thought his departure from the Japanese developer has prolonged the game’s development.
