A new job listing has revealed that Call of Duty developer Treyarch is working on a new title within the Activision franchise for “a new console.”

In search of a new senior software engineer, the listing states that the California studio “is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for a position on the team bringing our hugely successful game to a new console.”

Now, although this confirms nothing, we wouldn’t be too surprised if Treyarch is actually the team currently working on the unnamed CoD title confirmed for PlayStation Vita during its unveiling back in January. After all, parent company and publisher Activision seems impressed with the upcoming handheld console so far.
