
A 2011 PlayStation Portable RPG is getting a remaster for modern platforms, its publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has just announced. Super Robot Wars Z II: Ruination Remastered will be a current-gen release of 2nd Super Robot Wars Z.

No further details or platform information have been announced.
2nd Super Robot Wars Z was split into two parts: Ruination and Regeneration. Only Ruination’s remaster has been announced.
The latest game in the long-running series is the 2025 PS5 entry Super Robot Wars Y.
“Super Robot Wars is a grid-based tactical combat RPG that brings units and pilots from a variety of anime together to battle their mutual foes,” an official description reads. “Place your units strategically and command them to defeat your enemies! Upgrade your units and train your pilots with credits and resources you earn after every mission.”
We’ll update our readers when Bandai Namco Entertainment shares more information about Super Robot Wars Z II: Ruination Remastered. If the game does come to PlayStation, we expect a current-gen-only launch.
