April update to PS Portal cloud library lets players stream Pragmata directly
When the highly anticipated Pragmata launched last Friday, April 17, PS Portal players were surprised to find out that it wasn’t available to stream directly without a PS5. We saw dozens of complaints from those without access to a PS5, who wondered why Pragmata wasn’t available in the cloud library at launch, unlike its demo.
Well, we have some good news. Sometime yesterday, April 21, Sony updated PS Portal’s cloud library to add Pragmata. Those who don’t want to remote play or don’t have access to a PS5 can now play the game on their handheld.
We’re not sure what Sony’s modus operandi is for updating the cloud library, as some games have been available to stream directly at launch. But as players have pointed out, Tuesdays are typically when these updates drop.
