Inspired by Italian folklore and culture, Enotria: The Last Song tasks players with restoring a beautiful but cursed land to its former glory.

“The curse of the Canovaccio has ever since taken hold over the land and has stripped its inhabitants of anything but the role they have to perform for the Play, and this meaningless world has become nothing more than an empty, if beautiful, husk,” the plot reads. “Is it even possible to bring Enotria back to its glory? And are things as they really seem?”

Enotria: The Last Song was mainly criticized for technical issues, many of which were resolved via patches. The game earned praise for its unique setting and art direction.
