Sony has just announced the PS Plus Essential June 2026 monthly free games, and the lineup includes only one PS4 title. What’s a tad more surprising is that one of the freebies is an Xbox Studios game.

The following games will be free for all PS Plus subscribers starting Tuesday, June 2:
- Grounded Fully Yoked Edition (PS5)
- Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2 (PS5, PS4)
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (PS5)
Not a bad month for PS5 players.
In addition to the above, all PS Plus members can claim the following at no additional cost:
- EA Sports FC 26 Icons Player Pack (available until June 16) includes:
- Gold Starting XI Pack
- 3 Iconic Players Picks
- War of Tanks: HEAT: PlayStation Plus Pack (available on May 26) includes:

This is a good time for PS4 owners to upgrade their Essential membership, as the catalog offers more last-gen titles. Days of Play 2026 will kick off tomorrow, May 27, in Europe and the Americas. Sony is offering savings of up to 33% on the remainder of your membership when upgrading from Essential/Extra to Premium/Deluxe.
