Sony has quietly nuked another major “studio” behind dozens of scam games and shovelware on the PS Store, along with all of its games. Folks who love browsing PS Store sales will have come across titles like Liar’s Pub (a clone of popular game Liar’s Bar) and Backrooms: Together Escape (a clone of Escape the Backrooms). We are pleased to confirm that its dev, “Testagamecreations,” is no more… at least on PS Store.

List of games removed from PS Store in latest round of Sony’s crackdown against scams and shovelware

As brought to our attention by PSNProfiles user timpurnat, Testagamecreations was banned sometime last week. The developer publishes games across multiple platforms, but here are the titles that it listed on the PS Store that we can confirm have now been removed:

  • Liar’s Pub
  • Backrooms: Escape Together
  • Truck Simulator 25 – American Driver & its VR version
  • Star Truck Simulator
  • Criminal Cleaner Simulator
  • Fishing Simulator 2025
  • Auto Shop Simulator
  • House Cleaner Simulator
  • Manor Dynasty Strategy (pictured cover art)
  • Battle Pixel
  • Chained Cars
  • Car Street

While the PS Store is nowhere close to being free of shovelware, this is a step in the right direction, and we hope Sony will continue its crackdown.

Have our readers fallen for any of the games above? If you did, we hope you got a refund!
