An overlooked Square Enix PS5 and PS4 action RPG is 60% off on the PS Store in a limited-time deal. 2022’s Valkyrie Elysium didn’t quite get the attention that other Square Enix RPGs do, but it’s worth checking out at its current price.

Valkyrie Elysium PS Store deal discounts the latest installment in long-running Square Enix action RPG series

For the uninitiated, Valkyrie Elysium is the latest installment in a beloved series that debuted in 1999. It was the first home console entry since 2006’s PS2 game, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.

PS5 and PS4 players can grab Valkyrie Elysium for just $23.99 (cross-buy) until July 2. After this date, it’ll revert to $59.99.

This is the lowest price point for Valkyrie Elysium thus far.

“This action RPG incorporates the series’ signature Einherjar and combo systems, allowing players to enjoy speedy, three-dimensional combat. The game’s unique art style beautifully depicts a collapsing world as Ragnarok looms, with series veteran Motoi Sakuraba returning to enrich the title with an unforgettable soundtrack,” an official description reads.

Valkyrie Elysium is developed by Soleil. The game earned a mixed critic reception upon launch. However, it garnered a positive player reception. On the PS Store, Valkyrie Elysium is rated 4.01/5 stars based on over 3,000 ratings.
