Hideo Kojima’s latest game is now available on the PS Store for half-off its Digital Deluxe Edition. The game is available for $39.99, a huge discount off its original retail price of $79.99. The sale is only available until July 2, 2026, so fans only have another day to pick up what is likely to be one of the biggest sales the game will ever see for a while.

Death Stranding 2 is the latest entry in Kojima’s Death Stranding franchise and sees Norman Reedus return to reprise his role as Sam Porter Bridges. The game is set primarily in Australia 11 months after the events of the first game and sees Bridges looking to connect the Australian continent on the Chiral Network.
The game features a massive ensemble cast, including Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Troy Baker, Shioli Kutsuna, Luca Marinelli, Alastair Duncan, Alissa Jung, Debra Wilson, and Tommie Earl Jenkins, as well as the likenesses of filmmakers George Miller, Fatih Akin, Guillermo del Toro, and Nicolas Winding Refn.
After its release, the game received massive praise. Death Stranding 2 sold two million copies as of March of this year and was nominated for a litany of awards, including several Game of the Year awards.
