One of 2024’s most surprising new PS5 adventure games is under $5 in a limited-time PS Store deal, and I can’t recommend it enough at this price. I’ve previously raved about AA adventure Nobody Wants to Die, but it’s worth bringing it up again, as it’s currently 80% off in the July Savings promotion.

PS5 players can snag Nobody Wants to Die for just $4.99 until July 16, 2026. The game typically costs $24.99.

This is the lowest price that Nobody Wants to Die has been since its launch.

You’ll play as detective James Karra, a New York City police officer in the year 2329. You’re tasked with investigating a series of murders, and as you do so, your own life unravels.

Nobody Wants to Die is a cyberpunk noir game, which I’ve previously described as a love child of Cyberpunk 2077 and LA Noire in AA form. If either of these games intrigues you, I highly recommend picking up this gem by Critical Hit Games.

“Lose yourself in the world of New York, 2329, where immortality comes at a price that someone has to pay,” the plot reads. “Following a near-death experience, Detective James Karra takes an off-the-books case from his chief with only the help of a young police liaison, Sara Kai, to assist him.
