A beloved PS5 RPG game is available for less than $5 on the PlayStation Store. However, this is a limited-time deal which will end by the end of August. The RPG has received positive reviews on the platform with a nearly perfect rating.

Front Mission 1st: Remake is now available for only $3.49 on the PlayStation Store. This 90% off limited-time deal will end on August 27, 2026. Once the deal ends, the game will return to its original price in the store, $34.99.

The game was first made in 1995 as a tactical mech RPG. The remake of the game comes with fully overhauled 3D graphics and also modern gameplay mechanics suited for the PlayStation 4 and 5. Moreover, the remake comes with newly orchestrated music.

On the PlayStation Store, the game has received 4.17 stars out of 5 from 594 ratings. The mech RPG is developed by Forever Entertainment in collaboration with Square Enix.

Front Mission 1st: Remake is an immersive, tactical turn-based RPG. Here, you get to command powerful military machines known as Wanzers. As gamers take on the role of piloting these machines, they must navigate treacherous battlefields and the true realities of war.

According to the official storyline, the game is set in 2090, when the world’s conflicts are fought with Wanzers. Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) share a land border on Huffman Island, which is a warzone. Among these conflicts, Captain Royd Clive from O.C.U must find his missing Lieutenant fiancée while uncovering major truths.

O.C.U. and U.C.S. are the two campaigns players can play in the tactical RPG. It also offers multiple difficulty levels, along with Modern and Classic gameplay modes.

Additionally, PlayStation players can get a free in-game camera and a new tactical map, along with customizations for Wanzers and Pilots. Within the game, players can also switch between the original and the remastered soundtracks.

Other features of the game include new single-player scenarios, local multiplayer mode, six new maps, new mercenaries, and a commander character.
