A remake of a Square Enix RPG for PlayStation 5 has released a new trailer. The original game was first released in Japan on November 11, 1995. In 2019, a worldwide remastered version was released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, iOS, and Android.

On February 16, 2027, Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United will launch worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

According to the official publisher synopsis, “Every 300 years, Morastrum, the Star of Death, rises, dooming all born beneath it except the mysterious Child of Destiny. Nearly twenty years after its last appearance, an insurrection in Loanne uncovers a far greater threat: the Four Sinistrals seek to reopen the gates to the Abyss. Eight heroes bound by fate must unite to save the world.”

What is happening in the Romancing SaGa 3 trailer?

The epic trailer opens with the lore of the Romancing SaGa world. It introduces audiences to a familiar world, where the story of eight heroes is guided by fate. As the trailer goes on, these heroes are introduced with their unique stories but a common goal.

Together, they must fight and challenge the Sinistrals. Additionally, the trailer gives gamers a glimpse of the characters’ formations, battle styles, power systems, and other elements used to win battles.

In the game, the player must choose any one of these eight heroes shown in the trailer and embark on a journey to close the Abyss Gates. Gamers here create the storyline as their choices shape the adventure, creating a unique experience with every playthrough.

The trailer also features newly composed music from the original composer Kenji Ito, which can be switched based on player preferences. Lastly, the game can be played in casual, normal, or classic difficulty modes, tailored to challenge different play styles.

Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United is a full HD remake of the classic game by Square Enix. The game is available for pre-order until February 15, 2027. Those who purchase the game during the pre-order period on the PlayStation Store will receive special equipment from a treasure chest in Loanne or at the port of Myules after starting the game.
