An intriguing new South Korean action RPG has been announced for the PS5, and it’ll be out in 2027. Shade of the Marionette: The Story of Piyorita is described as a story-driven 3D action RPG, and it looks pretty promising thus far.

Shade of the Marionette is being developed by Kiwi Walks, the studio behind the acclaimed WitchSpring series. The upcoming RPG is also set in the WitchSpring universe, but will tell a new story about a doll named Piyorita.

“Shade of the Marionette is a story-driven 3D action RPG in which you explore hidden rooms beyond the mirror, absorb other dolls, and strive to become the Masterpiece,” an official overview reads. “Awakened by a familiar voice, the ‘little bird’ opens her eyes for the first time in the ‘White Nest.’ She sets out in search of the ‘food’ prepared especially for her.”

A PS Store page for the game isn’t live yet, and its price has not been revealed.

We’ll update our readers when a release date for Shade of the Marionette: The Story of Piyorita is announced. The game will also release on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC.
