British video game developer Auroch Digital has announced the PlayStation 5 release date for its new Warhammer game. The developer also revealed two characters from different Warhammer settings.

Warhammer Survivors is set to launch on November 5 on the PlayStation Store. It is a fast-paced Vampire Survivors-style roguelite action game. Auroch developed the game in partnership with Warhammer and poncle. It combines the survivors-like formula with characters, weapons, and enemies from across the Warhammer universes.

The characters introduced are Morvenn Vahl from the Warhammer 40,000 universe and Lyssa Revenya from Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. The trailer also unveils that the game boasts a huge roster of more than 40 playable characters, each with unique weapons and starting stats.

The distinct characters bring different combat styles to the new roguelite game. Morvenn Vahl, the Abbess Sanctorum and Supreme Commander of the Adepta Sororitas, takes the battlefield in her Paragon Warsuit and uses Heavy Bolter Fidelis to tear through enemy hordes. It can also trigger a miracle, which blesses Vahl and increases the weapon’s rate of fire.

Fidelis can evolve into the Purgator Mirabilis. That unlocks the warsuit’s Paragon Missile Launcher, which sets off random explosions across the battlefields while the bolter keeps firing.

Revenya plays very differently. She is a member of the Saviours of Cinderfall, and she turns her burglary tools into deadly weapons. Lyssa uses the Rope and Grapnel to attack enemies from different directions. The weapon can also pull any surviving enemies across the battlefield.

The Rope and Grapnel can eventually evolve to summon the spirit of Rhea. The former ally and mentor appears as a banshee that moves across the screen and releases a damaging spectral fog.

PS5 users can now wishlist the game on the storefront. PlayStation Plus members can also receive a 10% discount when pre-ordering the game.
