What can players expect from Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2
Space Marine 2 is a third-person shooter game with hack-and-slash elements. Players step into the shoes of Titus, an Ultramarines lieutenant who returns from the original game. In the campaign, he battles against relentless Tyranid swarms threatening the Imperium.
Brother Chairon and Sergeant Gadriel also join the fight alongside him. Players can also take control of them in co-op mode, while they are controlled by AI in solo play. Combat combines firearms, melee attacks, parries, and executions against large groups of enemies.
As for the competitive play, the PvP mode supports 6v6 matches between the Imperium and Chaos, with different classes offering distinct combat roles. These include Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, Bulwark, Sniper, Heavy, and Techmarine. The modes include Annihilation, Seize Ground, and Capture and Control.
While the game is already available in the PS Plus Extra catalog, players can add the title to their library for a solid price. Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 currently holds a 4.38 average rating on the PlayStation Store and received numerous award nominations.
