What to expect from Maneater?

Maneater is a single-player game rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB for blood and gore, drug references, intense violence, mature humor, and mild language.

In this game, the player gets to experience the ultimate power fantasy as the apex predator of the seas, a terrifying shark. In this open-world action RPG, players start as a small shark pup, tasked with surviving the harsh world and eating their way up the food chain. Players explore a large, varied open world and encounter diverse enemies, including humans and wildlife.

Players can find resources to evolve their shark beyond its natural limits and customize it to suit their play style. These upgrades help players take revenge on the cruel fisherman who killed their shark’s mother. To defeat him, players must evolve into a massive apex predator.

Maneater features a unique, full-narrative story-based campaign that gamers can play through. Players have to battle fierce wildlife, including other apex predators, or fight against various types of human hunters ranging from town drunks all the way up to the Coast Guard. They can also feed on humans and wildlife to grow stronger and collect loot to evolve their shark along multiple paths.

Players can also explore the Gulf, which features seven large regions, including Gulf Coast bayous, resort beaches, industrial docks, and the open ocean.
