PlayStation 5 has a gorgeous exclusive releasing today, October 30, 2026. Suri: The Seventh Note is a platformer developed by Indian developer Tathvamasi Studios. The game features rhythm-based mechanics. PlayStation took to its official account on X to announce the game’s release. It is now available for purchase on the PlayStation Store.
The synopsis of the game reads, “SURI: The Seventh Note is a rhythm platformer where you must navigate a beautiful but treacherous world to save your mother’s life. Time your jumps, dashes, and tricks to the mystical music around you, and restore not just your mother’s health, but the rhythm of the island itself.”
What to expect from Suri: The Seventh Note’s rhythm-based action?
Suri: The Seventh Note comes with a slew of features that make the game a fun challenge in several interesting ways. As a rhythm-based platformer, players are expected to run, jump, and phase in sync with the soundtrack.
Timing is crucial to the gameplay, as missing a single beat could disrupt the flow of the game. The developers strove to maintain a 480-millisecond gap between each main beat.
Gameplay and music are inseparable in Suri. Each level of the game is crafted with precision to reward quick reflexes. Mastering new beats in the game will result in the unlocking of new mystical powers. Newer abilities will impact the way players move across each stage.
Each level in Suri is composed like a song, with tempo, tone, and emotion playing key roles in solving the puzzles the stages have to offer. The levels range from quiet arenas to chaotic ruins, with each environment presenting a different challenge to overcome.
Needless to say, haptic feedback is of paramount importance, with the DualSense controller’s features serving as an important gateway into the game’s world.
Suri: The Seventh Note is available now on PlayStation 5 and PC.
