As expected, Sony has confirmed that next week will have a double dose of PlayStation Network updates in order to provide even more content to gamers around the world. According to SCEE’s Mike Kebby, Sony plans to update the store with a ton of E3 trailers on Wednesday and then some to follow on Thursday as well. Of course, this doesn’t give any word on actual game content, but I’d imagine that will be included as well.
Also, for those who are unable to check out Sony’s E3 conference on a live stream, Kebby has confirmed that the plan is to release the entire conference for download on the PlayStation Store. This will be a cool addition for all of you who want to check that out.
Unfortunately, Kebby wasn’t so reluctant to reveal what today’s PSN Maintenance is in regards to. Many expect it to be a huge firmware update and we tend to agree.
That’s the reason for the network being down i guess. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/06/08/playstation-network-regular-scheduled-maintenance-4/
If I start downloading the E3 2010 conference when it launches, maybe I can watch it by E3 2011.
I hope to get as much E3 coverage as possible. So I guess I’m adding PSN to my list of E3 sources.
I’ll be sure to watch the live stream. Hopefully a new firmware will be announced and some cool feature revealed.
where will the live stream be???
