In an age of gaming where exclusivity from third-party developers seems to be a dying breed, it gives reason to smile when you know a third-party exclusive is going to remain that way. It’s not that multiplatform games are a burden, we’ve seen great titles like Burnout Paradise, Dead Space, and Just Cause 2 developed for both and still be highly entertaining. However, it’s also great to see what a developer can do with a single piece of hardware as well.
With that said, Rockstar has confirmed that PlayStation 3 exclusive, The Agent, will remain an exclusive title and that there is no chance for change to occur in that situation.
Strauss Zelnick from 2K Games responded to a question about the exclusivity of the title in a Q2 conference call last night with:
“On Agent, there’s no change in situation on that title.”
This is great news and with L.A. Noire also on the block, that means that gamers of both platforms have something from 2K to look forward to, but PlayStation 3 owners just have the little bit of extra icing on the cake this time around.
R* follows through, unlike Square Enix. XD

I was disappointed that I didn’t see anything of Agent at E3 2010 : ( When?!
