Namco brings more Tales to the PS3

Despite Namco bringing over the previous Xbox exclusive, Tales of Vesperia, to the PlayStation 3 in Japan, the title never made its way to North America and a lot of gamers were displeased. Thankfully, Namco has recently revealed plans to release two new Tales titles from the PlayStation 3 as well as the development of a new Radiant Mythology for the PlayStation Portable.

Chances are if the games originally started on the PS3, Namco may be more likely to localize these games to other parts of the world much like previous titles in the past. According to the latest issue of Jump, the once Wii exclusive, Tales of Graces, is now coming to the PlayStation 3 as well. Furthermore, Namco has revealed that they’re also working on an exclusive title for the PlayStation 3 with no mention of a 360 format in the details. Though nothing is known about this title, including its name, it’s likely going to be yet another Tales game — which is only good.

For PlayStation Portable owners, you can also look forward to receiving a brand new iteration of Radiant Mythology in 2011. It may seem like a far way off, but at least it’s another solid RPG to look forward to on the go.

  1. Sweet. I wish ToV for the PS3 was localized, as it had a ton of extra content (I could always play the 360 version, but the PS3 version was leaps and bounds better), but this is great news.

  2. Great news.
