Dead Space 2 Continues Foothold on UK Charts

As expected, Dead Space 2 continued its hold on the top spot within the UK software sales charts this week. In fact, Dead Space 2 was the only title in the Top 5 to keep its positioning. Unsurprisingly, FIFA 11 rose back to the #2 slot and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Black Ops each moved up a slot. The loser this week just so happened to be PlayStation 3 exclusive LittleBigPlanet 2 which saw a big drop from #2 to #5.

With no major releases due out this week, there is a strong chance that Black Ops or even FIFA 11 will make another strong push to regain the top spot as titles like Dead Space don’t usually hold the reigns for long. We’ll have to wait until next Monday to find out.
