Activision has published some new screenshots for Silicon Knights upcoming action game X-Men Destiny, featuring hero Grant Alexander and some of his strange mutant powers.
According to the character biography, Alexander was to be a high school football super star, before realizing his strengths. The press release doesn’t articulate what his powers are as they are presumed to be customizable by the player.
“Grant is in San Francisco hoping to land a starting spot for the University of California, Berkeley, Varsity Squad,” said Activision. “Oblivious to the world tensions, Grant doesn’t see that the peace rally and threatening protesters around him have any connection to his life. When he discovers his own mutant powers, Grant is faced with the realization that mutant/human relations are absolutely his problem.”
X-Men: Destiny is set to release later this year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. View all the latest screenshots here.
