Angry Birds coming to PSN

If you own an iPhone (who doesn’t?), you probably have heard about the downloadable gaming app called Angry Birds. If not, Angry Birds allows you to line up a bird in a slingshot and propel him through the air into a tower in order to bring it tumbling to the ground. While simplistic, it’s definitely one of the most addictive games available on the device.

Today, the creators of Angry Birds announced that the title would be coming to the PlayStation Network as a new PSP Mini.

Angry Birds’ addictive gameplay, amusing antics and phenomenal record-breaking popularity will bring an unparalleled experience as a minis title,” explains Johnny Coghlan, Head of Publishing, Chillingo. “The game’s mass consumer appeal will surely entertain fans of all ages for hours.”

Angry Birds will feature over 120 levels of play, which is definitely worthy of the likely price of the game when it releases.

  1. Great game! To bad it’s only a mini. 🙁

  2. You should be glad it’s a mini.. That means you can guarantee a small price and it’ll be playable on the go via PSP as well.

    Can’t wait for this.

  4. I don’t own an iPhone…

  5. Never heard of it, but it sounds like it would promote animal cruelty. I say we boycott this game, and hopefully it will be pulled from the app store as well.

  6. no iPhone here refuse to conform
