The UK chart this week is quite interesting compared to previous weeks. Before, a newly released title would dethrone Call of Duty: Black Ops and then everything would return back to normal with Activision’s shooter regaining the top spot. This week, however, Dead Space 2 claims the top spot, preventing Black Ops from overtaking the lead for consecutive weeks.

Despite a new release pushing Black Ops back, it should be pointed out that LittleBigPlanet 2 continued to outsell it as well as Media Molecule’s Play. Create. Share., title found itself in the number two spot. Most surprisingly, Black Ops has dropped to #5 behind Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and FIFA ’11.
