DICE publishes Battlefield 3 concept art featuring Sharqi Peninsula and Gulf of Oman

DICE has released two pieces of concept art for Battlefield 3, showcasing the war-torn cityscapes of the Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula.

These two maps alongside Wake Island are included in the Back to Karkland map pack, free to those who pre-order the game. Similar concept art for Wake Island was posted earlier this week, depicting a blackened landscape with smoldering wreckage and leveled buildings.
