As of midnight this morning (or last night, however you want to look at it) Mass Effect 3 was released via the PlayStation Store. Gamers who want to continue Sheperd’s quest to save the galaxy on the PS3 can download the full game on PSN right now.

The official Twitter page of the PlayStation Blog tweeted last night that Mass Effect 3 would be available, and then confirmed later that the game was ready to be downloaded.

So if you can’t wait to get your retail copy, head over the PlayStation Store and download Mass Effect 3 now.
