According to a recent report from CVG, a Sony insider has released information about a couple of new SKUs that the company plans to announce tomorrow during their E3 Press Conference. This doesn’t sound too far fetched as the rumor of a new SKU out of the Sony camp is usually always true when you look at the history of the company. However, the sheer size of these new bundles is something to get excited about if you’re also excited for motion gaming.
Tomorrow, you should expect Sony to reveal that they plan on releasing a new 500GB PlayStation 3 Slim package that comes bundles with the upcoming motion technology, PlayStation Move. This PlayStation Move bundle will also be available in a less expensive bundle that carries a 250GB HDD instead as well.
The Sony insider told CVG, “I don’t know about prices, but their strategy is quite smart. With a super high-end and a less high-end approach, Move could almost become a success by stealth.”
Do any of you plan on buying a new bundle simply because it includes Move or will you just buy the tech separate?

That is a huge HDD though, wow. I’m only now coming close to filling my 80GB HDD and want to upgrade it to a 320 which even that might be overkill (but with prices and such… might as well). At least the option is there for people who want it and that a lower end is also made available.
Assuming the Move is a success, I will be buying it separately. I already have the PS Eye as well so I’m more than halfway there! SOCOM doesn’t interest me so far and neither do the other games. Here’s to hoping that E3 offers more than what we’ve seen so far in terms of games.

I might actually. My ps3 is having some problems and I expect to buy a new one by xmas, so a bundle with move (and a super huge HDD, lol) would be perfect.

and yes, if the bundle is way chepper than getting the ps3 the hdd and the move seperetly, id give the old ps3 to a friend or MOVE it to the living room cuz we love to watch BD movies a loot
