Today, Dead Space 2 releases to the world and apparently mothers across the globe are cowering in fear. However, with the announcement that Dead Space 2 is going to be receiving single-player DLC shortly, you may want to wait to start playing despite it being stand-alone content.
According to EA, the downloadable content entitled, Severed, extends DS2 with two stand-alone Chapters that include characters from Dead Space: Extraction (exclusive to the Wii and PlayStation 3). Severed sees the return of Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock, the two main characters from 2009’s Extraction title.
Pricing and availability has yet to be announced, but you can expect it to hit at the general $4.99-9.99 range within the next week or so (I’d imagine). We’ll update you if anything is clarified further.
Such bullshit. If it’s only a week away from release date they could have put a bunch of staff to work on it and speed up the finalizing of it.
If a DLC is this close to release date it should come on the disk, fucking EA….
