Fans of psychological horror and adventure games have a new title to explore. Time To Wake Up is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC. Developed by Belgian indie studio Eye Blink Twice, the first-person psychological thriller takes players through a strange dream filled with unsettling school memories, mysterious voices, and students who watch their every move.
The game launched on October 12, 2026, at $14.99 with a 20% launch discount. Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch versions are planned for later in 2026.
What to expect from Time To Wake Up’s unsettling adventure
In Time To Wake Up, players enter the mind of Alan Malone, who finds himself trapped in a dream connected to his past. They must explore distorted school environments, search for a mysterious book, and uncover what happened during his school years. A voice guides Alan through the dream, helping him open doors as he tries to escape. Blinking is central to the gameplay. Closing their eyes lets players alter their surroundings, reset moving objects, flood rooms, and rearrange the environment to solve puzzles.
The ability to alter the world with a blink also plays a role in exploring the game’s maze-like locations. These areas include dimly lit libraries, disorienting playgrounds, classrooms, and twisting toilet corridors. Players must also avoid unsettling classmates whose constant stares add to the tension. The game’s surreal environments connect its puzzles to Alan’s memories and his struggle to escape the dream.
Eye Blink Twice has also confirmed plans for updates in the weeks following launch. The studio intends to add Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish language support first, followed by French and German. It also plans to release bug fixes and has asked players to report problems through its Discord community.
Players can purchase the Time To Wake Up PS5 version through the PlayStation Store. The game is also available on Steam, where players can find more details about the release.
