Europe has long awaited the official announcement that the God of War Collection would be making its way across the pond, but now SCEE has done one better. Today, SCEE announced that the God of War Trilogy Box Set would be released in Europe that would include the God of War Collection and God of War III in one box. This just proves that sometimes patience nets you the better experience.

Currently, the pricing structure has the Trilogy box set going on sale for €89.99/£64.99 and the standalone God of War Collection itself will retail at €39.99/£24.99.

To be honest, I’m tempted to import the God of War Trilogy Box Set from Europe. I’m sure it’s going to be awesome. However, I bet you guys are looking for release dates, right? I’ve included them below along with a shot of the box art.

  • UK, Ireland, Germany and Austria: April 30, 2010
  • Australia and New Zealand: April 29, 2010
  • The remainder of PAL lands: April 28, 2010
