
A promising new RPG inspired by Nintendo’s Fire Emblem is headed to the PS5, and it looks great so far. Kickstarter-funded tactical RPG Beaten Path is brought to us by Peacebreak Studio. The game will be published by Wales Interactive.
Promising PS5 RPG Beaten Path gets 2027 release date window
Beaten Path will release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime in 2027. Price and further launch details have yet to be announced. Check out a new trailer below:
“Beaten Path is a turn-based tactical RPG set in a world ruled by fallen gods and ancient machines,” an official description reads. “Take command of Panna and her companions as they unravel the secrets of time, confronting lost memories, mythic powers, and a looping fate. Strategy, story, and spectacle converge in this character-driven journey.”

Beaten Path’s PS Store listing is live. However, the game is not up for preorder yet. In the meantime, PS5 players can wishlist the title.
“Master the battlefield with careful positioning, unit synergy, and decisive abilities,” Peacebreak Studio adds. “Flank enemies, exploit terrain, and command devastating abilities in grid-based encounters inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem.”
