Sony has released information in regards to its upcoming Firmware release for 3.30. The release itself is pretty minute in what it has to offer, but the Trophy enhancements should benefit a lot of users on an overall level. On top of that, there are a handful of hidden improvements not worth getting excited over either.
Full list of details below:
1. Trophy enhancements –- Now you can more easily sort trophies in the [Trophy Collection] and [Comparing Trophy] sections. Sorting can be done with [Trophy Collection] in the [Game Category] and also when comparing trophies with your friends in the [Friend Category]
2. Trophy Folder (Title List) can be sorted by game name/by title according to the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)
3. Add-on list (Group list) can be sorted by original/the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)
4. Trophy list can be sorted by original/trophy name/grade/date of obtaining the trophy (ascending/descending)
5. BD Audio Output setting under Video Settings: [(Direct)] and [Bitstream (Mix)] have been added for optical output.
6. Flash has been updated to increase Browser functionality with websites like YouTube.com
7. PC Remote Play will soon be available via Sony VAIO computers
I understand nothing here is remotely groundbreaking, but that’s because the large update for 3D gaming is coming in June. At least it’s something though, right guys?
I like #6, but SOny should let you dl up dates from sites to view contents.

According to various other websites this update includes the 3D support ahead of the Sony 3D Bravia T.V’s
#6 is really good, And I guess Trophy enhancements are good too, even though I’m not the kind that goes for that stuff.
everything sucks exept 6 for reals they need a good reason to wai t an 1 hour to download this shit

yeah even i read on numerous website that this update will enable 3D gaming on PS3, other than that everything else is good update.
any improvements to web browser are very welcome but not bothered about making trophies better to view, would rather they hurry with a reward system for trophies
What I am waiting for in any of the upcoming updates is the Skype support. SONY, let PS3 be my video phone, too. Or, maybe you guys are working on your own PS3 to PC videoconferencing software? That would be awesome!
