A first-party PlayStation 5 exclusive has shut down its servers. The game has also been delisted from the PlayStation Store, but it does remain playable in some forms.
What first-party PS5 game has been delisted and shut down?
Destruction AllStars, the vehicular combat game from Lucid Games, has shut down its multiplayer servers. The game has also been delisted from the PS Store, effectively ending any chance that people could pick it up in the future.
The notice was first spotted on PlayStation 5 and shared to social media by creator Radec on X. According to a notice on the PS Store, the game can be redeemed via code until November 25, 2026, and the game’s arcade mode remains accessible for players.
Destruction AllStars was originally released in 2021 and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game featured 16 different characters, all of whom control their own hero vehicles. The gameplay saw players trying to break each other’s vehicles and allowed players to leave their car and enter others to keep the battles going.
Upon its release, Destruction AllStars received mostly mixed reviews. Still, the move is a shocking one. No official word on the reason for the shut down was given.
