VG247 has unearthed a surprisingly good YouTube video featuring one of the motion wand demonstrations from the Tokyo Game Show’s opening keynote. The footage reveals exactly how LittleBigPlanet will function with the want motion support once it is released in the Spring of 2010. Shockingly enough, this should be worth playing through the game with. It kind of reminds us of Super Mario Galaxy in its multiplayer setup.

  1. Sorry? What was that? Did you say Sackboy? Have my money, please =].

I am surprised that they did not put any kind of Nunchuk-like analogue stick onto the Wand … We watched the video of them playing RESI5 with it, though, and it looked quite stable holding both at once …

This kind of two-player set-up will work perfectly for casual games, but when I want to swing that thing around like a sword (like their E3 tech demos), I’ll have to be stationary? =[

  2. As an after-thought, the precision on the Wand looks amazing … Either the Wand is magic or that woman is a ninja.

  3. looks really fun!

  4. Wow this is awesome, it brings a whole new meaning to mulit-player into LBP and it might even generate ideas for other games as well
