A fun, popular Nintendo Switch console exclusive game series has been stealth-launched for the PS5 and is now available on the PS Store. Suika Game and Suika Game Planet were both first released in Japan in 2021 and 2025, respectively, and won accolades.

Both Suika Game and Suika Game Planet are available to purchase for just $2.99 each.
For the uninitiated, Suika Game is a puzzle series that combines elements of Tetris-like stacking, falling, and merging.
“The rules are simple: drop fruits into the box and merge identical ones to make them evolve into larger fruits,” an official overview reads. “If the fruits spill out of the box, it’s game over! Aim for the highest score while working your way up to the biggest fruit of all — the watermelon.”
Here’s how to play the games, according to developer Aladdin X:
- When two identical fruits touch, they evolve into the next larger fruit and earn you points.
- Press and drag across the screen to move Poppy left and right, then release to drop a fruit. You can also simply tap anywhere inside the box to drop a fruit directly to that spot.
- Keep an eye on the stack! If any fruit spills out of the box, the game ends.
